Is Obama deliberately showing us that he doesn't care, or is he really this out of touch and disillusioned?

This absolute sham is not "cool," Mr. President. To stage this press conference with Clinton and the media does nothing but further cement the notion in the listening public's mind that you really do not give a damn about the state of this country and the people struggling in your economy. 

Pulling this ridiculous stunt, whether it is another deliberate poke in our eyes or if Obama truly is disillusioned and completely blind to reality, no doubt demonstrates his total disregard as to what the Bush tax cuts mean to the economy if they are not extended. More importantly, if not shamefully, it illustrates, again, his sheer lack of empathy and sensitivity to the people.

We already know that our President lacks substantive character, empathy and humility. That is who he is, but to mock the Office of the Presidency and sully the dignity, respect and awe that the American people have for the Presidency is simply infuriating and unacceptable.

Shame on President Obama.
