Captain Julio M. Lara's, The Obamanism

Posted: August 14, 2009, 4:55PM

A letter to The Conservative Foundry from Captain Julio M. Lara of the Cuban military.

I believe the liberals have reached a dangerous point in America. For years they have been helping each other to get good educations and key positions inside the government. Using hundreds of non-profit organizations, they have financed their liberal agenda, with a plan to transform the American culture.

Regarding religion: after they demoralized family values and faith, they dishonored and humiliated Christianity. They revolted the gay, Muslim and youth generation against us Christian-conservatives, and at the same time they created the popular culture.

Regarding Economics: their sabotaging of the oil industry through environmental regulations has prevented America from becoming non-dependent on oil. They support and impose unionism that consequently makes it difficult to compete with foreign manufacturers. They have crippled American economics through government interventions, restrictions and environmental regulations that consequently led us to the recession--and eventually will take us to socialism.

Regarding Politics: they have systematically demoralized, and corrupted the American political system by imposing their ideology to our youth with an education system that has 76% of their faculty as liberals. They have created a detrimental political system where a large percentage of the new laws are designed to transform our society and culture. Finally, by supporting illegal immigration where they confer amnesty, and ultimately citizenship at the expense of the American people. Statistics prove that non-illegal immigration, even from the same countries, would result in a more educated, law abiding and productive immigrant population than the one we currently have, with high percentages of criminals and welfare recipients.

I sympathize with Christian denominations, but I blame them for receiving donations that exceed $100 billion a year, and not teaching the American people about this liberal ideology; this “Poison Factory.” This is how Michael Medved in his book Hollywood vs. America describes it: "American long-running romance with Hollywood is over. As a nation, we no longer believe that popular culture enriches our lives. Few of us view the show business capital as a magical source of uplifting entertainment, romantic inspiration, or even harmless fun. Instead, tens of millions of Americans now see the entertainment industry as an all-powerful enemy, an alien force that assaults our most cherished values and corrupts our children. The dream factory has become the poison factory."

The majority in Hollywood, the Liberals, fascists, communists or socialists are the alien force and the poison factory that hate Americans’ superior standard of living and liberty for all. They disguise freedom, individual rights, equality for all and workers privileges on their agenda. They are reigning in more than 20 countries, in which, there is no freedom, human rights, individual rights and equality for all; they only have collectivism of hell and widespread misery. Even here in America they still are unmoved by reason, evidence or history of their system. They are cruel in every country they possess, even with their own comrades. Cuban ex-secretary of state, Mr. Roque, the man who represented Fidel’s polices all over the world, made small mistake and fell. Today he is cleaning a park in small town in Cuba, making 125 Cuban pesos (about $5.00) per month without a car; living as a broken poor man, thanks to his humble resignation and obedience to the party that saved his life and that of his family.

I know how this alien ideology works. At the age of 15 I was a member of Fidel Castro’s communist agenda; at seventeen I joined Castro’s army. Before I was brainwashed, Fidel confiscated all of my father’s properties. He was a hard working man who never had any problems with the law and worked all his life to have something in his old age. He died without a penny. Since then, I started to combat and study the communists in Cuba, Venezuela and here in America. Hugo Chavez brought thousands of Cubans and created a sub-government under the Venezuelan government, with different titles, disguising their intentions. These Cubans began to take key position in every cabinet post and every department: the police, the army and the universities; they started screening all government workers, firing those that rebelled, and brainwashing the rest. Ten years later, through indoctrination, activism, revolt, false elections, community organizing and promoting envy and hatred among social classes, Venezuela is a country behind the iron curtain, with no freedom or human rights. Chavez is closing all the non-government Television and Radio stations, confiscating most of the private sector and putting under government control all distribution system, education, police, and army. No one has been able to do anything about it. Watch out America, this can happen to us!!! The poison factory already has a sub-government, under the government here in America, with over 40 Czars, 80 plus lawyers, the largest White House staff in history, over three thousand educators, more than five thousand activists, and twenty five thousand plus comrades working from their 150 plus non-profit organizations (such as UCLA, ACORN, CEC, AIW, WUO, SDS, WFT, UOC, RCP, PLP, MIM, FSP, etc.) If we don’t do something now, we are going to have the same future as Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, etc. Let us all unite, and paralyze this country if necessary by blocking all roads and streets, creating chaos until the army has to intervene, and a new government can be established.

I so enjoyed reading your letter, Captain Lara. You should be an inspiration for legal immigration in this country and you are right that we americans had better start paying more attention to our government, otherwise, we might lose what we fought long and hard for, democracy and that would be a disgrace.

Are you serious? Lose our democracy? It's a fact President Obama was democratically elected by the majority in this nation. Our rights and privileges as American people will rise or fall on our actions because WE are the government. I believe the Republican Party is so out of whack with what the ordinary citizen wants and desires (proven by recent voting results) and I find it mind boggling that the Republican Party are ignorant enough to blame a man for our country's so called "Obamanism". Again, he wasn't self-appointed as our president - the people spoke. I voted Republican my entire life until the 2008 election, and the way things are heading for the Republicans I don't see my opinion changing. My main interests are civil liberties, equality, peace, being a good neighbor, and helping those that need help. Republican hate/fear mongerers love to scare people into thinking that we are facing some kind of dreaded "socialism". If that's socialism I beg them to read their bibles and quit masquerading around the infowaves as the "moral right" when in fact they are only kissing up for votes to support their greed-oriented agenda. WWJD?

It is also a fact that Obama was elected on a moderate platform and now alot of the same people who voted for him are suffering from buyer's remorse. It is the fact that we are a Republic that has so many people upset now because we are doing far too many things that are harmful to our country. As President he has gotten to pick and choose what companies stay in business, what companies prosper from the take-overs and now he is going to try and create a health-care system that has failed in other countries and send us into a trillion dollars debt. It is a fact that he is stepping all over our constitution. But I guess it's o.k. to mess with other people's civil liberties, as long as he gets his agenda passed and I guess, we the people, who worry about those liberties, just should be good little citizens and stay silent. Not going to happen.

Former Republican voter. You are exactly right. The only problem with your post, and this is the only problem, is that you used the wrong word, sir. Rather than "republicans" I think you mean, "liberals." Now you make perfect sense. Thanks for your comment.

"It is also a fact that Obama was elected on a moderate platform and now alot of the same people who voted for him are suffering from buyer’s remorse." This is opinion, not fact. I for one am optimistic enough to feel confident that the American voter is intelligent enough to not have "buyers remorse" after only 8 months of a 48 month presidential term. You and I both know that nothing happens over night so to expect instant results is flat out ridiculous. I suppose it's easy for opposition to wish differently and to believe Obama supporters are jumping ship. But that has little to do with the point I was trying to make. It is difficult to understand the mindset of a person who is convinced that the democratic ideals of our great country are under attack by so called socialistic policies and "Obamamism" when democratic ideas were/are exercised extensively whether you agree with the majority or not. Democracy. America.

"Let us all unite, and paralyze this country if necessary by blocking all roads and streets, creating chaos until the army has to intervene, and a new government can be established." (Lara, J.M.) That statement, my friends, is treasonous. You know it, and I know it. It wasn't too long ago the conservative right was accusing the liberal left of making the same treasonous statements made during the George W. Bush/Dick Cheney administration. Are you honest enough of a person to admit that and resist hypocrisy? Democracy and the American way of life is still on firm ground regardless of the lack of quality in fairness and honesty exhibited by some of its citizens during changing times.

While we don't condone chaos nor paralyzing this country, i wouldn't call it treasonous. Perhaps a more aggressive means of protesting- 60s style maybe- but not treasonous when the purpose is not betrayal rather a march against socialism. That is patriotic, not treasonous.

I agree with your comment that nothing happens overnight, however, President Obama is moving at lightening speed for the express purpose of getting as much of his radical agenda through as fast as possible while he has this window of opprtunity. That being a democrat controlled congress and what once was heavy public support. However the people are on to him now and as he loses more public support, it won't be long before the democrats cut their ties with him since next year is an election year and as we know the number one goal of any politician is reelection.

That's the nature if politics whether we the people like it or not!

Sorry, it's a fact that the president's approval rating has been steadily declining, Rasmussen Reports show his approval rating is at it's lowest Index Rating since he was elected. Just 49% of his own party offer a positive assessment. He has hit below 50% approval with 48% approval, 51% disapproval and if his approval rating is falling, logic says that he losing support. And why is he losing support, because the majority do not like the direction he is going in. And yeah, the far-left made many nasty statements about President Bush, most of them personal and vicious. And no one condones violence, ever. But I can certainly tell someone that I am glad that they are in our country now. You know, free speech and all that, allows me to do so, just as it allows him to express his fears. Fears that I might add that most of us in this country has never had to deal with. & democracy and the american way of life is still on firm ground in spite of President Obama's agenda. Instant results? We're getting plenty of instant results that are not helping this country, like trying to pass a trillion dollar healthcare bill where government will have majority control or passing a $787 stimulus package that has not produced stimulus but has increased the national debt astronomically. President Obama's words, we are going to radically change America, this is what he promised. So, yeah, if I feel that his decisions are hurting this country, then I will say so, because as stated we do live in a democracy.

I would define treason as an act against the United States of America conducted by an American citizen. Semantics, I suppose, but I think the Constitution would clarify it in Article 3. I believe in November 2008 the majority spoke through their vote in support of Obama/Biden's plan/idea for America. Simply put, that's how it is. I think the minority that throws a tantrum, takes their ball, and goes home is childish. The minority who advocate "paralyzing the country" and "chaos" are destructive to the majority who exercised their constitutional rights to decide the direction of the country. The minority that speaks about bearing arms to bring down what they deem wrong is what defies the constitution. I don't believe 60s era protesting coincided with sharp spikes in the sale of assault weapons because of this irrational fear. That simply isn't necessary and common sense should take hold and prevail. I will continue to debate that the people chose the course and should be respected just as I said about the previous administrations. That is and will be the United States of America. As I said and believe wholeheartedly, Democracy and the American way of life is still on firm ground regardless of the lack of quality in fairness and honesty exhibited by some of its citizens during changing times.

No one I know who voted for President Obama feels duped and wishing their vote back. On the contrary, I feel as though people are buying into his plan because they already know what road lays behind them. Sure they know there will be a price to pay as there is a price to pay regardless of the decision. What are the constructive ideas the GOP have? Honestly? Mistakes have been made in every administration. Mistakes will continue to be made in future administrations whether they are Republican or Democrat or some other party. But what I feel is most tragic in politicians is their inability to admit when policy mistakes are made and fail to correct them. Ego perhaps? Admission of political ammunition for the opposition? Regardless, it is tragic and politicians from both sides of the aisle have been and continue to be guilty. Be honest about it. Unfortunately, we the people pay for it and I believe the GOP has guided us all deep to the bottom simply in terms of the mass amount of capital lost during their guidance and the obstructive and deconstructive isolationist policies they've formulated in a modern world that isn't compatible with that way of thinking anymore. I'm sorry but the many former Republican voters such as myself aren't buying into the GOP. Family, neighbors, jobs, health and peace are much more precious to us.
Lorrie Kinard August 24, 2009, 8:08AM | http://lorriek.wordpress.com

There has been no response given that advocates paralyzing the country or causing chaos and if you want to talk about tantrums, you only have to look at the democrat party after each election of President Bush, there were many, including those who wanted to move overseas. And yes, both sides make many mistakes and should be held accountable for it, but seriously, I have never seen a President with a larger ego than the President Obama and he is determined to press his agenda onto the american people, regardless of what they want or what is good for the country. And talk about isolation, he is the one who said he wanted bi-partisanship, he is the one who said that his administration would be different, but it is his party that is shutting down any ideas that don't coincide with his agenda. People have other ideas, he just doesn't want to listen and he hasn't listened since taking office. And people are upset because they are worried about their healthcare and the loss of jobs, that's not a party issue, by the way, that is a people issue.
