EXCERPT:

Analysis: The Islamists’ tactical absence from the protests has been widely misread as proof of their lack of ambition and marginality.

A much-cited – though not always accurately – Pew Research Center of Muslim attitudes, published only two months ago, indicates how frighteningly fertile the ground is for the Islamists in Egypt: 82% of Egyptian Muslims favor stoning people who commit adultery; 77% favor whipping/ cutting off of hands for theft and robbery; and 84% favor the death penalty for people who leave the Muslim religion, it found. By way of comparison, the comparable percentages in Turkey, even as it submits to growing Islamist influence, were just 16%, 13% and 5% respectively.

The same survey found that among Egyptian Muslims who see a struggle between those who want to modernize their country and Islamic fundamentalists, a striking 59% side with the fundamentalists and only 27% with the modernizers.

Pew also found that 54% of Egyptian Muslims believe suicide bombings can be justified often (8%), sometimes (12%) or rarely (34%), as against 46% who said they could never be justified.

There is abundant historic precedence of organized Islamic groups "duping" nations into bringing them to power that have only given rise to powerful terror organizations and terror nations.

From Khomeini's ousting of the Shah, to the rise of terror group Hamas and their violent takeover of the Gaza strip, to the rise of terror group Hizbullah and their removal of Hariri on their way to controlling Lebanon.

Rather than supporting the protestors' ousting of Mubarak, Obama should denounce it, and spell out in detail the risk of allowing an ally of the US and Israel to fall into Islamic rule under the auspices of democracy.

Obama should cite historic precedence that peaceful dictators are better left in power than allowing proven terror organizations to rule.

The Egyptian people may agree. While the US media and Obama are intent on making it appear as if every single Egyptian wants Mubarak removed, only .3 percent of the population make up the violent protestors. Yet it's that 250,000 out of the 80 million Egyptians in Egypt who are being hailed as the leaders of the "new" Egypt for democracy. Forget about how they are doing it.

By contrast, over 70% of the American people want Obamacare repealed and it's profoundly obvious that they are being ignored. Maybe those "violent" Tea Party demonstrations just weren't violent enough?

This fits right into Obama's anti-Israel, pro-Muslim Islamic policy. Still, we don't know if it's good or bad for America, but historic precedence certainly is not on our side.
