Dear President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,

Posted: June 27, 2009, 7:25PM
I am writing this letter as a concerned American citizen defending my President.

This weekend you upset me, Mr. President Ahadinejad. After everything President Obama has done since he was elected just so that you would be his friend, you go lashing out at him now threatening your relationship with him just because he used a few words from his telepromter asking you guys to break it up on the streets.

Is this the way to treat a friend?

I will tell you that it’s not something he wanted to do right off the bat. He was, and still is, under a lot of pressure.  If you want to blame someone for defending those innocent people protesting for a fair election, blame us, the American people and the Republican Party, not President Obama.  We're the ones forcing him to speak out finally.

As you well know, President Ahmadinejad, it was President Obama himself who said he doesn’t want to meddle in your election. And in fact it wasn’t until 3 or 4 days after the election and well into your protests and violence that President Obama said what he said, again, because of political pressure.

With all due respect, President Ahadinejad, shame on you. No, I do not raise my shoe to you, but I say shame on you. Have you forgotten what President Obama has done from the goodness of his heart so that you would be his friend?

The first day after his inauguration he flew to the Persian region and apologized to the Muslim world for the United States. I don’t know what he was apologizing for but as we say in this country, "It’s the thought that counts."  By the way, may I call you Ahmy, President Ahmadinejad?  Thank you.

What will go down in history, Ahmy, is that President Obama’s very first interview as President a couple of days after inauguration was not on one of his networks here in the United States, but on Al-Arabiya, speaking to his and your people. If you don’t believe me, listen for yourself.

As if that weren't enough, President Obama made two more apology tours to the Muslim world, even bowing to King Abdullah Bin Abdul Azizaudi.  Don't believe me? Again, see for yourself.

President Obama has bent over backward and forward trying to be your friend, Ahmy, and this is how you repay him?

Please, look at how he’s supporting a settlement for the Palestinians, who like yourself would rather see Israel annihilated and just removed from the face of the earth rather than coexist with them.

Don’t you remember how President Obama was yucking it up with HU Jintao and Medvedev at the G20? Don’t you get it, Ahmy?  Do I have to spell it out for you? President Obama was sending a message to you, Ahmy, and to N.Korean President, Kim Jong Ill, and to all you ruthless dictators, that he is more than willing to be buddies with you guys and all of the enemies of the United States.

And look at how you guys go and treat him. Kim Jong Ill is about to launch a nuclear missile next week into Hawaii.  Medvedev is ramping up his military, telling President Obama to stuff his "world-without-nuclear-weapons"-1970s-Miss-America slogan with the 8-tracks in the attic, and China isn’t going to buy anymore of our dept.

Is this the way to treat a friend, a buddy, a pal? Huh? I don’t think soooo!

President Obama deserves a little more respect than this.  He, like yourself, is a dictator, a Muslim and a radical liberal.  He has banned the use of the word "terrorism" in any talk pertaining to the war, and he has allowed the use of his middle name, Hussein.

He is trying his best to close Guantanimo Bay, releasing classified documents on interrogation techniques, freeing detainees into the United States, reading them Miranda rights and even allowing them to swim in the beautiful waters near Bermuda.

Come on Ahmy!  After all that, what in the world did President Obama say that was so horrible? Huh?  It’s not like he used the words “freedom" or "democracy” in support of the people you’re massacring right now. Allah forbid if President Obama ever sounded like a leader of the free world standing up for fair elections, liberty and democracy. Allah strike us dead if President Obama ever sounded like one of our Founding Fathers!

Is this what upsest you, Ahmy? What President Obama said Friday?

"Their bravery in the face of brutality is a testament to their enduring pursuit of justice. The violence perpetrated against them is outrageous. In spite of the government's efforts to keep the world from bearing witness to that violence, we see it and we condemn it."

Or this . . .

"I would suggest that Mr. Ahmadinejad think carefully about the obligations he owes to his own people."

Look, just because these were written in capital letters, boldface and underlined on his teleprompter to really suggest that President Obama means it this time, don't take it personal.  It's just that outside of your country nobody wants to see people get mutilated.

You are keen, Ahmy.  You caught how President Obama repeated over and over in each of his statements last week that we "can see" what is going on, that the world "sees" the violence and you finally banned reporters and all media from the streets where the protesting and killings are taking place, just like they did in Tianamen Square.

President Obama wants this off the front pages, wants these images off of his networks so it's not another political distraction and you heard him and you did it. Hey, what are friends for anyway?  Now you can do whatever you want to your people and nobody will ever know the full depth of terror and horror that took place in the streets once the dust settles.  Just like in Tianamen Square.

By the way, just between you and me, Ahmy baby, what would you have done to that little boy standing in front of that tank on the Square?  See? Nobody’s perfect.

You should be stronger than President Obama, Ahmy. Rather than crying like a little baby telling everybody that you don’t want to be President Obama’s friend anymore because he’s trying to break up a street fight, you should take the high ground and say something that President Obama is not capable of saying.

Stand up and shout to the world, “Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me!”

Look, I know what you’re doing, Ahmy. I know, that you know, that we have one heck of a weak dunce running my country right now and you’re playing political ping pong with him.  I know.  And I must admit that  when you said, "We are surprised at Mr. Obama. Didn't he say that he was after change? Why did he interfere?” that was brilliant.

It's obvious that you know President Obama said himself when this mess first began that he didn’t want to interfere and you threw his words right back at him, probably knowing that he will back off. You’re calling his bluff, Ahmy, and it will work. I’m embarrassed as an American.

But again, President Obama is not defending your people's cause which is democracy, fair elections, liberty and freedom. As I said earlier in this letter, the day the words freedom, democracy and the right for every human being to have their liberty comes out of President Obama’s mouth is the day that you and Netanyahu hang out at your palace and get drunk every weekend on your homemade Arak. Ain’t gonna happen, Sir.

So, please forgive my President for responding to pressure from us, the American people, and from the conservatives in Washington. All he’s trying to do is break up a fight on the streets, that’s all. He’s not supporting their cause for freedom or liberty or fair elections. He, like all of us here just don’t like to see people get hurt the way you’re hurting them for not voting for you. Raise their taxes or something, take away their dealerships, but don’t shoot them.

As far as I know, even as you murder your people on the streets in a bloodbath massacre, you’re still invited for hot dogs at the White House. Don’t let President Obama say anything that will make you cancel that.

Not after everything he has done, and is still doing to be your friend.

Sincerely,

A Concerned American

Chuck

Truly brilliant! I truly hope Ahmy doesn't have your home address.
And you're so right, Obama bowed to political pressure only, so now we know he can execute more than one kind of bow!
