Ground Zero Mosque: Islam's 9/11 Checkmate

On September 11, 2001 we watched video after video from Muslim nations of peaceful Muslim men, woman and children celebrating in the streets as if Dick Clark had just began to lead millions in a chorus of Auld Lang Syne.

Nine years later Ground Zero and 9/11 is once again a day for celebration for peaceful Muslims around the world while we have to bring in an 'army of police' to Ground Zero on a day meant for remembrance.

It only took four years to construct the first World Trade Center and 18 months later the second stood next to its twin. Almost a decade later New York is still squabbling over who will grab the glory of putting something, anything in the retched holes left by radical Muslims who call themselves Al Qaeda.

Today, Ground Zero's vacancy is cause for the best celebration yet for these same peaceful Muslims around the world since that dreadful Tuesday morning.

Not only did the radical Islamic terrorists, under the auspices of Al Qaeda, succeed in using our freedom against us to take down the "symbols of freedom" and enact the greatest terrorist attack in our nation's history, but they again succeed in manipulating our freedom, this time under the protection of the 1st Amendment and with the support of like-minded leaders in Washington and New York, to erect a Mosque on Ground Zero, their symbol of victory.

So, on this ninth anniversary of 9/11 the Muslims have taken it away from us again and are prepared to celebrate their national Holiday today. Happy 9/11 to Islam, and to peaceful Muslims around the world.

Congratulations is in order, or shall I say, checkmate.
