How Many Ways Can You Say, "Stimulus?"

►White House: No second stimulus being considered

This is a play on words. There has been more than two "stimulus" bills passed. They were just never called "stimulus" bills.

The first, and most popular, "stimulus" was never intended to be used as Obama had pitched it to us. It was always intended to be used as a slush fund for the Democrats’ upcoming campaigns and to pay back the unions and others who had helped Obama and the Democrats get elected. It even had a fancy name called, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

There were other spending bills necessary to pay for favors that could have been called "stimulus" but they had to have fancy names too. Anything with the word "job" in it always sounds important so we had a bunch of "jobs bills." Remember those? How about all those "jobs summits" when a few Obama pawns agreed to the photo opts and had to report back to Professor Obama with their ideas on how to save the economy and jobs? This, remember, was after Obama had already spent a trillion dollars of our money to create jobs and to stimulate the economy under something called a "stimulus" bill.

The word "stimulus" is a bad word now. It’s tarnished by virtue of our president’s lies. Obama used the word "stimulus" for a bill meant only to stuff the Democrats’ campaign slush funds while selling it as his major economic policy issue. It only worked as it was intended to work, not as it was sold.

So, Obama is doing what liberals do best. When something isn’t working they just change the name, not the substance.  It’s now time to change the name of the spending bills again, but the President still thinks most Americans think we’ve only had one "stimulus" bill. He may be right.

He’s also right that there is not going to be a "second" "stimulus." There will be another spending bill with a new fancy name to do what the others were meant to do. It will replenish the Democrat’s campaign slush fund and pay for favors and votes.

Simply put, the Democrats are doing what they do best.
