Jobs Report Means Labor Force is Shrinking
Posted: March 4, 2011, 11:41PMWho in this country truly believes that the REAL unemployment rate has fallen to 8.9%?
This has been a systematic manipulation of the available jobs in the country for months now with the intent of charting a course that will eventually show an unemployment rate that is favorable to Obama's re-election and approval rating.
The magic number is below 8%.
A president has never gotten re-elected in the history of this country when the unemployment rate was above 8%. It's Obama's goal to get that "number" below 8%. This is done by simply reducing the size of the work force and not counting those who have given up looking for work; arbitrarily changing the size of the work force on their own whim. Three months ago Obama and his media accomplices began the mantra that people weren't getting jobs because there were less jobs available.
This also is being done because they believe that if you get the number at or below 8%, they think that it will take the economy out of play for 2012. They will continue this misleading and disingenuous manipulation of the jobs report until that rate is below 8%, and look for that to happen early next year.
Until then we'll see it settle in the 8% range for a while, drop a little here and there, then at last take that magical plunge below 8% just in time for the 2012 election season.
But, here is where narcissistic people like Obama fail in their psychologic optics of trying to get the people to actually believe them, not their own eyes or their own realities. When history has shown that no president has ever won re-election with unemployment above 8%, that is because those numbers back then were real and reflective of the actual people out of work.
Today, the actual number when you count those who have given up looking for work and the number of jobs that have been lost, is close to 22%. People know their quality of life right now regardless of what number Obama and the media want to throw around and announce all over the news every 5 minutes all weekend. People know if they are working or not.
When unemployment was under 5% during the Bush years and the media was trying to convince us that we were in a recession and times were so bad that the end of the world was near, people believed that because even though they were doing well and working, maybe their neighbors weren't. The media campaign was so profoundly convincing that the American people who had it pretty damn good under Bush handed our beloved nation to the most dangerous man in the world.
Today, Obama and his media are trying to convince Americans who are out of work and living in hardship now because of his radical leftist policies that unemployment is dropping and that the economy is on it's way back. However, the millions and millions and millions of people who have lost their jobs under Obama will not accept the fact that while their lives suck now, maybe their neighbors are doing pretty well as easily as they accepted just the opposite under Bush.
Let's hope the American people will not buy into this shameful propaganda.
Chuck
