PAX Americana Institute's (PAI) 'Pledge to America' Analysis

EXCERPT:
Conclusion. This treatise, if it is coupled with other innovative policies, could drastically transform American politics. Until more particulars are added, however, this document is like the vast majority of party-issued political treatises—an attempt to attract as many voters as possible. But the principles underlying these ideas are the ones that promise to bring the American economy back to solvency and renew the foundation of American economic strength.
It is critical that the people hold accountable every Republican candidate running for office either as an incumbent or a first-time office seeker, either a Republican establishment candidate or a conservative Tea Party candidate, to uphold their "Pledge to America" with a genuine effort of getting as much of it enacted as possible.
It will be very obvious to a more informed and impatient electorate if the "Pledge" fizzles into nothing more than political talking points. It is fine to sit back and allow the Democrats to commit political suicide, but without alternative conservative solutions the Republicans will not take back control of Congress as easily as they are hoping they would.
The "Pledge to America" is nice. It is a sight to behold in fact when compared to the bondage that Obama and the Democrats have enslaved upon us. Yet, it lacks substance, as indicated in PAX Americana's analysis. It leaves too much wiggle room for compromise. In this climate, there is no room for compromise.
Conservative policy is what it is. There is no compromise. It is based on our founding principles of liberty, entrepreneurial spirit, limited government and free-market economics based on private sector supply and demand. The United States of America is a shining example of conservative policy success. It is excellence and it works every time it's tried.
The GOPs "Pledge" is on the right track and it must be enacted. Obama's agenda must be stopped and reversed. In a normal election year we'd be apathetically satisfied with the "Pledge" because it wouldn't be so far removed from the current state of governing. Unfortunately, today we are bloodied, worn out and in need of real conservative reform. The Republicans know this and they saved it for just the right time. The solutions are broadly outlined. The Republican establishment will get their votes out of it, but the conservative Republicans will work hard at bringing the "Pledge" to life.
Every Republican, however, must be held accountable.
Chuck
