Rush Limbaugh: Something is Happening Out There
Posted: October 23, 2009, 8:13PMOctober 23, 2009. Hour 2.
"Something is happening out there. It's palpable. I can feel it. Call it a 'receding tide,' maybe, call it 'a stiff breeze,' whatever you want. There is a movement about, a coalescing of disparate interests, a loose affiliation of Americans who love their country, who share a sense of danger. Call it self-defense, patriotism, anger, betrayal. It's all of that and more. Americans are agitated. They are in a state of unease. They've had enough of this delusional president who keeps demanding their lunch money, keeps demanding their tax money, keeps destroying their private sector. They've had enough of indoctrinating chants forced on our school children, czars who pray the mass murdering and liberty-destroying Mao Tse-tung, czars who are communists, a czar who praised the founder of NAMBLA.
Unaccountable czars seizing control of our car companies which have long symbolized American freedom, failing to deliver jobs, destroying the budget and the economy instead, slandering doctors, attacking the Chamber of Commerce, delivering a fascist message to American businesses across the spectrum, apologizing for America instead of being proud for the first time in his life. Abandoning our allies, undermining the First Amendment, enabling Election Day thugs, blasting tea partiers and town hall attendees for standing up for their rights and their opinions. Picking fights with El Rushbo, Fox News, Hannity and all the rest, clearing the field. Americans have had ten months to learn what the State-Controlled Media hid from them. They've gotten an up-close and personal look of Barack Obama.
They get him now. More and more people each and every day are getting Barack Obama. It has begun. Victor Davis Hanson today at National Review Online. 'If Obama continues on his path, he will polarize the country in a way not seen since 1968. He will set back racial relations to the 1960s. He will do to the reputation of big government what LBJ did from 1964 to '68, and in the manner of what Jimmy Carter wrought, turned voters off liberal foreign policy for a generation.' That's the conclusion. It is a long piece that is a brilliant analysis. And we're seeing this conclusion happen daily. We're seeing a greater polarization. We're seeing racial relations set back to the 1960s. We're seeing Jimmy Carter-like destruction of the economy, except in this case it's purposeful."

I agree that there is something going on, but not what needs to go on. We the people need to wake up to the fact that there are 18,000 government entitlement programs. Some programs work and others do not. If the United States is in debt then we need to look no further than the 585 people elected to lead this country. The every day American did not approve spending all this money. We are not the ones that have a lifelong retirement plan and medical benefits, it's the 585 in Washington. When was the last time Gongress asked the American people for a raise? Who gave Washington the right to put social security money into the general fund? We are going through tough times but the 595 do not seem to be hurting much. I think it is time for the American people to have the right to approve raises for Government. They would then have to earn their money as we do. If you fail to do your job in Government you get no raise and loose your benefit package. We would all be on equal footing.

Congress makes me so damn mad these fat bastards cant do anything for the American people but can vote their own lardasses a pay raise. Obama and Congress is the reason many Americans are moving over seas and to Canada and I thought they were crazy but I dont blame them and I am strongly considering moving to Mexico. Please can we vote Limbaugh to the President position and let him straighten out this mess we got into which is not fault of our own. Unless you blame us for trusting our elected officials which I for one certainly dont' anymore. Good day to all.

An awakening of the American public. I awoke! I compare the two parties to parents and teen agers. The Liberal Democrats are the wild, outrageous teenagers having a hay day! Spending their arents monies any way they can. The Conservative Republicans are the scorned, powerless parents, bent on training their wayward teens in proper etiquette where the general public is concerned. Only the parents have a few bothersome problems. Their teenagers, like so many teens, think they are all powerful adults. The dutiful parents have failed their children in infancy and early childhood. They failed to teach them respect for the general public. They failed to teach them what happens when one makes fun of the general public, laughs at their Tea Parties, and tries belittling tactics teenagers at so often very good at. The time has arrived, for the general public to stand up, take notice of what is really being done to them, and learn very quickly what they need to know in order to corral their wayward children!
We, the general public, have become bored and tired of what is happening in our current Administration. We must stand tall, shoulders back, and march forward, pushing our warward children back, far back, with strength in numbers, and determination of reaching our goal-the goal of properly admonishing our wayward children. We have strength in numbers. The only roblem is that we have not realized how strong we truly are.
We must start communicating with each other before that becomes a 'Right' of the past! We know that we can do better with our wayward children. We know that we can turn them from snivling little brats, into strong and caring young adults. But we cannot wait longer. To wait longer will be the unraveling of our family - The Family of America!

I'm jealous! When did you meet him and how long have you known him to form such an opinion, with confidence. Sort of has a "Global Warming" mantra tone to it like, "there debate is over" when here we find out this week that they were a bunch of frauds and it was all a scam!

I find it intersting that there are certain traits among liberals that seem to revolve around "shoot the messenger. Of the critics of Rush, Glenn Beck, Hannity and others none listen to them but rely on snips of quotes. partial comment taken out of context, and out right lies. I dare any of thm to listen to any one of those three and look me in the face and tell me they don'y agree with them. If they can't do that then they are (A) under 35 (B)victims of our poor education system which fails to teach truthful history.
Another trait of all liberals is the inability to have a rational debate but rathe fall ack on just calling anyone whodisagrees with them nasty names and accusations of being ignorant.
I am appaled at the number of people who express hate for this country. I am appalled at those like Michael Moore who really appearently believe that anything is good in Cuba or Venezuala or any socialist regime. As I see what is happening to our country, where our "leaders" are taking us, I remember the words of Christ on the cross - "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do".
