The Art of Deception: Why President Obama Must Resign

Posted: September 29, 2009, 6:28PM

As mentioned in my column, Preamble: Why President Obama Must Resign this is the first in a series of columns that I will write that offers substantive reasons why President Obama must resign as President of the United States.

It is important to make clear that calling for the resignation or impeachment of the President of the United States is a very serious charge and should not be tossed around simply because of differences in policy agreement.

In fact, the right to impeach public officials is secured by the U.S. Constitution in Article I, Sections 2 and 3, which discuss the procedure, and in Article II, Section 4, which indicates the grounds for impeachment: "the President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

We do not, and should not, take this lightly.  I am not calling for the impeachment of President Obama, that will be determined by Congress.    However, the President can resign for any reason.

Here are The Conservative Foundry's reasons. This column will touch lightly on the President's deceiving and fraudulent campaign.

President Obama is the master in the art of deception.  After 8 months in office it is easy to look back at his campaign now and see that it was a blatant and brazen effort in voter fraud.  He masterfully adopted free-market, conservative language to promote bigger government, and a fascist and communist agenda.

We can list numerous "read my lips" moments where President Obama has not kept his campagn promises. Some are more serious than others and some may offer good reasons for resignation.  But differences in policy agreement and unkept promises are a part of our political culture and are generally not acceptable reasons, by today's standards, to actively promote for a president's resignation.  We still want to give our president the benefit of the doubt.

That is fine when politics as usual is confined within the boundaries of the Constitution.  However, when the President swears to uphold the Constitution upon taking the oath of office, anything less is unacceptable.  President Obama swore to the oath of office to uphold the Constitution; a Constitution he does not respect nor does he like.

Individually, President Obama's broken promises appear as typical Washington politics from a typical beltway politician.  Taken as a whole, however, President Obama is not breaking his promises for political expediency, although that is part of it, but rather because he never meant a word of what he said in his campaign.

He did not campaign as he is governing today; as he is unmasked today.  His intentions are not what he wants the public to believe. He did not campaign as an anti-constitutionalist who believes that America is morally wrong as it is constituted and that his goal is to systematically dismantle the country and transform it from a free enterprise economy, the best economic system in the world, to a centralized, government-controlled fascist nation; a system that has ample historical evidence of failure.

In all fairness to the President, he did tell America that we are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the Unitied States of America.  Some of us had shuddered to think what it could mean.  Most cheered him. Nobody bothered to ask.

President Obama counted on his uninformed and ignorant electorate to take him for his word; an electorate that could not imagine that anybody was going to begin to fundamentally transform the United States of America in 5 days.  He mocked those behind him in the video. He played on the trust and respect that they and millions of his other supporters had held for him.  He knew what he was saying and what he was doing, and he knew that his fans did not.

The art of deception.

President Obama did not tell his supporters during the campaign that only government could fix our problems. Even if he had it may not have mattered, for he got away with vague platitudes as if he were speaking directly to O.J's jurors. But just in case, he waited until his inaugural address to do that.

He throws out numbers and statistics without any credible support to sell his economic packages and expects us to just believe him.  He attempts to deceive us with tactics of fear and desperation.  The $700 billion stimulus package had to be passed immediately or it would "turn crisis into catastrophe" and if it weren't passed immediately then unemployment would surpass 8%.

National health care must be passed right now, immediately, this is our last chance and if we don't do it right now then more people would die. (Of what, sir, old age?)  Yet, nothing in the bill is going to be enacted until 2013.  That is after the 2012 elections and into his second term. President Obama knows it's something we don't want. If it passes and is enacted prior to his next election he most certainly will not win re-election.  By 2013 it will be too late.

The art of deception.

The reason for the series of commentary calling for President Obama's resignation, is to not debate our differences of opinions about President Obama's legislative policies like national health care, cap and trade and his stimulus bailouts, but rather to bring to light how they are just small pieces of a puzzle of a much larger and more frightening diabolical agenda.

These, and many other suspicious actions taken by President Obama that I will discuss in great detail are all part of a carefully conceived and strategic plan to systematically dismantle our economy and our free capitalist system, and to weaken our stance internationally. President Obama does not like America as She is constituted; he has written and spoken of it abundantly. In his mind, he has a score to settle with America.

That is something that the American people must not find out.  His intentions are not that of what he wants us to believe. His intended results from his devastating policies are not that of what he wants us to believe. Therefore, his means of governing as President of the United States must be in campaign mode all of the time in front of the cameras; in front of his raucous crowds, because he cannot tell the truth. He must not tell the truth. America must not discover exactly who he is and what he intends to really do to our country.

President Obama's presidency is the art of deception and is a reason why he must resign.
