The Fast Fix is to Not Vote "D"

►The Fast Fix- Uncharted Territory

This is by far the most far-reaching, desperate attempt by the media to downplay the inevitable political bloodbath the Democrats will sustain in November.

This is not uncharted territory. Washington, politics and politicians have never been popular with the public, but what the media is not wanting to admit is that the people are concerned with issues today, not a politician or a political party's popularity.

The popularity contest lies in issues and policy. The Democrats' issues are very unpopular with the people which is why they have had to usurp the Constitution and the legislative process to get much of their agenda passed into law. The Republicans, for the most part, have popular issues simply by playing off of the failures of the Democrats' failed policies.

The "Pledge to America" is very popular. If the Republicans are serious about it, and work to legislate their "Pledge" then they will be a lot more popular than if they don't.

The political climate is what it is, regardless of how the media and Democrats try to soften the edges. They know that.

Simply, the fast-fix is to not vote for anyone with a letter "D" next to their name.

Chuck,

First of all, great blog! It's fantastic for people of all beliefs, morality degrees, and political backgrounds to get together and share their opinions. Perhaps we can all learn from each other. With that being said, you're right on about the media. I think it's important for voters to remember that most in the media are not concerned about the issues, but rather the story the candidates can give the media to produce. Fox, CNN, MSNBC, all are guilty of "spin" and trying to increase ratings. It's our duty as voters to sift through the chaos and install term limits where needed.

The Pledge to America is very popular, but will it be enough for (R) to take November? Only time will tell. Lets remember that for every person willing to vote republican in the upcoming elections there will be an equal number that either will continue to vote for democrats or be too scared for "change" again and let the current administraton ride it out...and who knows where the growing number of independents will end up..

The fast fix is indeed not to swtch out VP's...but to switch out policies.
