On July 4, 1776 Congress publicly announced to the world the unanimous decision of the American colonies to declare themselves free and independent states, absolved from any allegiance to Great Britain.
The Declaration of Independence was Thomas Jefferson’s radical project of its time that set in motion the most prosperous example of human liberty ever established.
The United States of America is a nation that is only a few minutes old with regard to the historical clock, founded from documents written as the definitive American statement of the conditions of legitimate political authority, the ends of government, and the sovereignty of the people.
No nation in history has ever attempted such an experiment, nor is there a longer living Constitution today than the Constitution of the United States since its ratification in 1789.
As Matthew Spalding, Director of the B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies at the Heritage Foundation writes, “To this day, some 200 years after the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution serve not only as powerful beacons to all those who strive for liberty and seek to vindicate the principles of self-government, but also as a warning to tyrants and despots everywhere.”
Since our founding there has always been tyrants and dictators who have sought the destruction of our great nation via force and terrorism. Millions of Americans have died in our 233 years of existence to preserve what this country represents.
From the pharaohs before Christ to Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin, history is totalitarian. History is dictatorship. History is evil rulers, emperors, murderers and tyrants, until The United States of America.
We are a nation that escaped that kind of governance and rulership. We are the free nation; we started different.
However, radical liberals, dictators, statists and communists have existed in our country since our founding and have always been here, but they have never attained the kind of power that they have now in our government.
Through the years they have been chipping away at our liberty and our way of life, and like Islamic fascists who have been in existence for hundreds of years seeking only to destroy the “Great Satin” regardless of how long it takes, politically, radical liberals, dictators, statists and communists aren’t in any hurry either. They seek control and power; it is their existence, their history, it is their birthright. They detest liberty and freedom; the United States of America is a threat to their existence.
These radicals and despots have found their way into powerful political positions and have now finally gotten their foot in the door to accomplish their goals via the Democrat Party.
Let’s explore this for a moment. Who is Barrack Obama? Really? Besides the warning signs like his two books, his 20 years in a church that preached hatred and racism, his alliances with domestic terrorists, his shady Chicago land deals and community organizing with the corrupt group ACORN and his mentoring by supporters of 20th century radical community organizer, Saul Alinsky, who is Barrack Obama?
President Obama’s political advisors would be best served right now to call the President immediately and ask him why is he committing political suicide. Since the healthcare reform bill has been exposed as the fraud that it is, the polls unanimously show that the American people do not want this “takeover” budget busting, culture-of-death bill, disguised as healthcare reform.
Townhall debates have erupted with passionate and informed Americans who are expressing their disdain for this bill. Rather than calling for peaceful townhall debates, President Obama, as well as the Democrat Party leadership, have chosen to conspire against American citizens and incite violence.
In recent speeches, President Obama has said to “get in their face” and “punch back twice as hard.” He has called out ACORN and union members to intimidate and threaten anyone wishing to express their right to free speech at the townhall debates and have stacked the townhall meeting rooms with their "people" in an effort to silence the opposition.
The Democrats, including Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who is third in line for the Presidency, has called the American people “angry mobs” “crazies” and “Nazi’s carrying swastikas.” This is a defining moment in our history. Never in the history of this country has government turned on the American people as President Obama and the Democrat Party have in recent weeks.
President Obama is a radical, liberal, socialist dictator who is an anti-constitutionalist who’s agenda is restrained by the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. He has said so in interviews and in his writings. His intentions are not what his supporters believed them to be as they voted for Candidate Obama then got President Obama – two different people.
President Obama says he has “a gift.” He is an eloquent speaker who believes he can make anyone believe anything he wants, in some cases asking us to believe him rather than our own eyes. But the American people’s expression and passion against the healthcare bill is unlike anything we have seen in quite some time.
It is very disturbing to see the Democrat Party’s and President Obama’s reactions against the American people. In a sane political world, they are committing political suicide. It is obvious that if they vote for this bill and pass it into legislation, it will be the end of their political careers. Are they this naive to think otherwise or are they arrogant enough to think that the American people will forget, and with ACORN and voter fraud tactics implored during the election of 2008 they will get the necessary votes needed to win reelection?
However, a far more disturbing reality may exist. What if certain powerful leaders of the Democrat Party and President Obama do not care about reelection? What if self-preservation is not their intent, rather fulfilling what radical liberals, dictators, statists and communists have been waiting to accomplish all these years since our country’s founding?
We still cannot fathom how or why terrorists take their lives for what they believe. They die in their effort to destroy our nation. They are the most difficult to defeat because they don’t value their lives.
If President Obama and radical, liberal democrats do not care about reelection, rather accomplishing their mission of destroying our way of life at any cost, how can they be stopped? Only democrats can stop themselves right now. Republicans have no power.
President Obama is, in fact, rushing three of the most destructive, radical, unconstitutional bills through congress under the auspicious of catastrophic consequences if they don’t get passed immediately. The “stimulus” bill has passed. Cap and Trade is stalled in the senate.
He is recklessly spending us into massive, unattainable debt. He is attempting to pass legislation that is destructive to our way of life, to our liberty, to our Constitution and to our free capitalist economy with no regard to consequences. Economics 101 says that is not the way to revive any struggling economy.
So what is the intent here? President Obama had said that the “stimulus” bill is working as intended when we reached 9.5% unemployment in June. I believe him. It is working exactly as President Obama has intended, not America.
It is disturbing to think that perhaps President Obama’s goal is to not be President of The United States and uphold the Constitution as stated in the oath of office, rather to reach the most powerful position in the world so as to use that power, the power of the presidency, to accomplish his radical liberal mission. Let’s not forget, he didn’t place his hand to his chest during the pledge of allegiance until he was forced into a corner. He didn’t wear his lapel until he was force into a corner. He has written of his disdain for our country, for our history and for our Constitution.
Imagine the political liberal martyr he could become to dictators and tyrants and liberals all over the world if he can pass a bill that cannot be reversed, that will do lasting and long-term damage to The United States and that will secure his name in history as the one who created long-lasting harm and pain to the only nation that escaped tyranny, dictatorship, evil, murdering emperors and King and Queen rule, if only for a few minutes - historically speaking, of course.
That would be far more honorable for him as a radical liberal than to be reelected President for a country he does not like.

First, what a thought- provoking piece. Excellent writing, Chuck! In Obama's own words, we are going to fundamentally change America & the world and if you look at his motivations from your point of view, then that statement not only makes sense, it should give everyone a reason for concern. It would mean that he has an agenda that is totally against the welfare of this country that you have so eloquently wrote about and the democrats in office are so liberal and are so high on their own power that they don't even realize how they are in reality being used by him to cause irrepairable damage to the country's freedoms that have been fought so hard for and so many have lost their lives for. Again, excellent work.
You bring up two very provoking ideas that I have had myself. 1. Are they relying on ACORN voter fraud to ensure their re-election in 2010 and beyond, hence their total disregard for their constituents? 2. Are they (on the whole) more concerned with passing socialism than their own survival? I think it's a combination of the two. For example: My representative in Congress (Ben Chandler) ran as a Blue-Dog Democrat. He represents liberal Lexington and conservative surrounding counties. He voted for Cap and Trade (a bill that will effectively destroy the KY economy which is predominantly coal-based). There was outrage among his constituents. He won't take calls, he refuses to have a town hall meeting and has basically called those very people he represents uncivilized. This is political suicide for a man whose family has been a force in Kentucky politics for close to a century. His vote for Cap and Trade put more scrutiny on his other votes. The man has voted in lock step with Pelosi and has been anything but fiscally conservative in his voting record. Now, I've wondered what could possibly make Ben Chandler do what he's done...as someone who no doubt has higher political aspirations (Governor, Senator, etc.). I have concluded that he has either been assured some kind of appointment or an assurance of necessary steps to be taken to ensure his re-election (which would not surprise me given his grand-daddy was a crook and KY politics is notoriously corrupt).
The blatant disregard for the polls and the name calling of those who attend town halls makes no sense for people who live and die at the polls. People like Pelosi may not have to worry given that she represents San Francisco, but the average Democrat Congressman does need to worry. The average Democrat is very concerned about what is going on. I know Democrats who have never voted for a Republican in their lives who are freaked out about what Obama and his ilk are doing. People are not believing what is coming out of Washington and are informing themselves on their own. The public is reading the bills. They are outraged that our Representatives are voting on bills without having a clue what is in them. They are educating themselves on American History (myself included) because we have been dumbed down over the decades. There's a revolution brewing...a peaceful revolution despite what Obama and Pelosi may say. We are fed up. We are fed up with electing Representatives for one purpose only to have them do anything but represent us. We are fed up with being ignored. We are fed up with being lied to. We are fed up with being bullied. We are fed up with being told that we can't be trusted to run our own lives. We are fed up with losing more and more liberties that these people are charged with protecting. We are fed up with not having a voice and by God, we are going to make our voices heard. We are individuals exercising our rights while we still have them. We are not corporately funded; we are not organized by Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck. We are Americans who vow to be heard! We are not going down without a fight!
Great job on the history lesson. We need to constantly be reminded who this man is and who those people are who are backing him and surrounding him. I recommend an expose on all of his czars including people such as Ezekial Emmanuel, MD who will likely play a role in any govt healthcare program.
This article is so far from the truth and demonstrates the lack of intelligence and ignorance on the right. The so-called "Conservative party", is more liberal than the actual Liberals. You guys claim that President Obama is an undercover socialist, Nazis, communist and is out to get every American. But here is the truth: When President Clinton left office in 2001, the United States' economy had $285 billion surplus and in 8 years President Bush and his cronies decimated this country you "conservatives" supposedly love. He left two wars where more than 4000 American lives have been lost, sounds very patriotic don't you think. Bush and the Republicans absolutely destroyed the financial system in the United States there goes the 9.5% unemployment you claim President Obama is responsible for. And all this uproar about health care has no merit. Here's a question for the right to answer: "Why does the health care system have to make a profit?" We have learned through history that privatizing certain industries without a way of regulating it does more harm than good i.e. wall street. The best gift Obama can give the United States is Universal health care, do you actually understand the amount of money wasted by the government because of this broken health system. We are ranked 37th in the World Health Organization rankings and that isn't something enough to demand reform. And don't use the excuse that why do people from other countries come to United States to get treated for the illnesses, there is a big difference between health care and treatment. I understand the Obama administration is spending a lot of money that we don't have but "desperate times calls for desperate measures" And all this fear of the government running our lives is bogus, name me one instance in your life that the government intrudes upon everyday? OOO wait I can answer that for you, the Patriot Act. You complain about the Obama government being in your everyday lives but you let President Bush take your liberties away with saying a word. Now you have a President who actually cares about the decisions he makes and what repercussions it may have on the country. This controversy about health care isn't a morality or a money problem, it is a lack of pride and greed problem. Are we so arrogant and selfish that we get angry because Obama and the government wants to health care access to every American. It seems to be that the biggest problem you and the right wing have is that the President of the United States of America is BLACK and you guys can't take it anymore so you make up dumb excuses in order to put down this man. But it seems to me that America did chose the right man for the job and he will prevail. My only advice for President Obama is to forget about bipartisanship because these Republicans are going to try to destroy you and what you stand for every chance they get. Sorry, it wasn't the conservatives that threw out the nazi card during the town-halls, nor was it conservatives who used the race card, it was sadly, members of congress and liberals and those are just sad excuses that are used when you cannot find a real justification for your behavior. And where was the democratic party's support during the two years that they had a majority at the end of President Bush's term? They voted down his request for more regulations in the housing/banking markets? And why do Franks and Dodd continue to get a free pass when you can lay the blame for the housing market crash sqarely at their doors, which by the way, was the beginning of the crashing markets? And if we do get cap&trade and health care reform, you will see many intrusions come into our lives and don't take my word for it, read either bill. And for the record, I was and am all for the Patriot Act. It is written to moniter foreign entities and the last time I checked, it was foreign entities that killed 3,000 americans. And if our President cared so much about this country then he would stop spending money we don't have(for the record he has increased the debt far more than Bush in far less time) And according to all polls, cost is the major concern for healthcare. I, too, wish to see those who need healthcare, receive it, but in a responsible and sensible way and not at the expense of the middle-class nor do I wish to see Seniors suffer because of this bill and I do not want to see a trillion dollars spent without fixing what is already broken. A little common sense could fix alot of the problems with healthcare. And as far as I know, it is still a free society and we do not have to agree on every issue and we should not be villified for it.
