At a time when the Middle East seeks solidarity and support for democracy, President Obama, the most visible, media-obsessed President in our history, has disappeared.

His decision to remain silent on the conflicts consuming Iran’s election, not even offering a statement of support to demonstrators putting their lives on the line for real change in the region, suggests that he has chosen to continue to denigrate the democracy agenda.

This is shameful and it is a major sign of weakness for President Obama.

Throughout history the United States of America has stood for freedom and democracy. Liberty is a core principle of this country that set us on a course to become the most prosperous nation in history, and the envy of the world. Liberty is our founding and is written into law by virtue our Constitution.

We have liberated millions of people from oppressive regimes, paying the ultimate price while encouraging oppressed people through example to rise up and defend their freedom against their rogue regimes.

We have promised to support and unite with anyone anywhere in the world who have found the courage to stand up and defend their right to freedom, and we have kept that promise every time.

Millions of people have demonstrated that democracy and freedom is worth the ultimate sacrifice. Millions of people have died defending their right to liberty.

Millions of people are still living under dangerous, oppressive regimes. Their only hope to one day rise up against their tyrannical governments, risking their lives and their families lives, is knowing that the United States will always be there as we always have throughout history to support their right to liberty and freedom. It was and has always been our promise to the world.

To turn our backs now on the people of Iran who are being brutalized and murdered in their stance for democracy and freedom, and who are depending on the United States to unite with them in solidarity as we had promised  them we would, is setting a devastating precedence that is resonating throughout the world and ringing in every rogue dictators’ ear.

President Obama took credit for a “robust debate” in Iran’s election, proclaiming his speech in Cairo influenced a fair electoral process in what appeared to be a major upset victory for incumbent president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Within 24 hours, however, the people of Iran protested by the thousands that the election was fixed and it has escalated now to the point where the Iranian government is using force against it’s own people.

The only response from President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are, “wait and see.”

The Iranian people need to know we are on their side. They need to know we are going to support their march for democracy and a fair election.

They should not be left alone now after believing our promise that we would unequivocally support them when they were ready to stand up and overthrow their oppressive government.

How betrayed must they feel? How demoralized might they become if President Obama continues to remain on the sideline and refuses to speak out loudly and decisively in solidarity soon? What does President Obama’s silence in support of freedom and democracy mean to the rest of the world? What does that say of who President Obama really is, of what he believes and where he intends to take America?

This is a time for leadership. This is a time to put politics aside and do what’s right.

To claim that the United States would be “meddling” in Iran’s affairs if we offer our support and stand in solidarity for their freedom and democracy is cowardice, and it is betrayal.

It is a stab in the back to the millions of hopeless and oppressed people around the world who have come to believe via our sacrifices and the sacrifices of millions around the world, and our examples of supporting liberty and democracy at any cost that freedom can indeed become a reality in their lives and in their country.

This is President Obama breaking our promise, our oath to millions of people around the world and weakening our very existence, our founding, our Constitution in the eyes of our enemies.

This is President Obama breaking our promise, our oath to stand with those who have made it their life’s mission to believe in our democracy, in our Constitution, the longest living constitution in the world, to fight back tyranny and communism and spread liberty and democracy around the world.

This is President Obama weakening our stance against rogue, evil regimes whose life mission is to fight back our efforts to spread liberty and democracy around the world with murder and terrorism.

This is President Obama setting us back generations, unraveling everything for what the people of this country has sacrificed throughout the years to help make the world a safer and more prosperous place by liberating millions.

President Reagan proclaimed, “Mr. Gorbachev, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

In my feature, “Someday She Will Drink This Water," I write of a true experience of how I witnessed the results of President Reagan’s victory over the Cold War and what that newfound freedom means to a Russian woman and her daughter.

Freedom is everyone’s natural desire. It is our God-given right. The manipulative powers of governments and oppressive dictatorships throughout history have stripped freedom away from millions of people who know of no other way of life.

They have never experienced the essence of individual freedom and what it is like to live in a country where they are encouraged to be the best they can be, to have the freedom to unleash their vast potential, their entrepreneurial spirit and their freedom to choose.

People around the world, especially in nearby Canada, are incredulous and utterly dumbfounded at how we are the only place in the world with freedom written into law under our founding documents with a Constitution that nobody else has that puts people first and grants us protection from a dictatorial, socialized government, that we are so easily allowing an historical nobody, a fraud, a very angry, reckless, incompetent man who has a chip on his shoulder for this country to just throw more and more of it away every day while nobody seems to care.

It is unbelievably shocking how easily President Obama is doing it. He himself must not believe how easily he is getting away with it.

Under President Obama’s dictatorship ruling right now, he is creating fear around the world because the only country that everyone in the world can fall back on when there is a natural disaster, or when a family member is sick and needs the best medical attention in the world, or when exchange students can get the best education in the world, or when families can go through a legal process, become citizens and have the best quality of life than anywhere in the world, or when illegal’s can find work and free healthcare and make enough money to support their families back home, or when necessities have moved from food, water and air, to cell phones and computers, is now becoming unraveled at a rapid pace and weakened during very dangerous times when the world needs us most.

For the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to evil, dangerous dictators.

For the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to world economies.

For the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to a free Lebanon.

For the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to a free Israel.

For the first time in everyone’s lives, we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to a free Russia.

For the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to a mushroom cloud that hasn’t been seen in over 50 years.

President Obama is one tough guy when confronting powerless, “evil” corporate America, but when it comes to facing real bad guys around the world, he is nowhere to be found.

The rogue dictatorships like North Korea and Iran, and terrorist groups like Al-Quada, Hamas and Hezbollah know this better than anyone and they will do whatever they want to do now.

These guys know better than anyone that they have a weak, immature, coward high school kid in charge of the United States now whose primary concern is his popularity and what Fox, Limbaugh and Hannity are saying about him and will not oppose their aggression with anything but a few words and a teleprompter.

So, for the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to world peace.

For the first time in everyone’s lives we are about to see what a weakened United States of America under a weak, incompetent radical, liberal president means to the rest of the world when they, like a child, always had their Mommy there when they needed her most.

Today, Saturday, they are predicting more bloodshed in Iran. Bloodshed against all of those who are protesting the election. While they know firsthand that the election was rigged from the start, they are willing to shed blood for a cause. It nearly broke my heart to see all of the signs they were carrying that were written in english.
If Obama had spoken out against the election results and in support of the people of Iran, we could have had a true chance at stopping nuclear prolification there, but no, all our great president could say was there was a "robust debate", shame on him and his administration! I truly believe that he is taking this avenue because he wants to continue to be popular with the rest of the world and his liberal cronies here. It's just a shame that his popularity is more important than the blood of the Iranian people
