Will Republicans Give Obama the 'Obama Middle-Class Tax Cut Bill?'

This brings back horrifying memories of single-issue politics that consumed the health care debate.
Remember Sestak and his abortion play? The Public Option? These are single issues that were used as teasers to appease the public and to make it appear as if they were the only issues involved in a 2000-page bill that is nothing short of lethal to our way of life. They are single-issue politics designed to distract from other, more serious provisions in a bill and to create division and win over support under a false premise.
Single-issue politics is what is going on now with this "middle-class tax cut" charade that has sprouted up over the weekend. It is disingenuous and, frankly, utterly pathetic. It is runaway arrogance at the expense of the American people.
Shame on Boehner who was more concerned about not giving the Democrats a sound bite that he doesn't support a tax cut for the middle class than he was about the devastating economic effects if the entire Bush tax cuts are not extended. He had an opportunity to dismiss this ridiculous premise and explain the importance and the necessity of extending the entire Bush tax cuts rather than just these concessions meant only to appease Republicans into going along with this scam on the American people.
The media now has their opportunity. They now have their opening to report on a Republican division; that they are split on middle-class tax cuts, and they are leaping on it like a pack of rabid, starving wolves.
Let's hope that the Republicans are indeed serious about blocking this tax increase. Otherwise they will hand Obama and the Democrats a nuclear political weapon called, the Obama Middle-Class Tax Cut.
