Budget Gridlock Likely to Lead to Gov "Shutdown"

The Democrats have been dying for this "shutdown" because they think the Republicans would get the blame for it as they did in 1995. However, they are terribly miscalculating this politically. In today's anti-government political climate, the people would welcome a government "shutdown" if it leads to an end to the out-of-control spending.

Also, most people realize now that a government "shutdown" is not a "shutdown." It doesn't shut down. Outside of Washington state government services still function, the IRS still functions, but the White House is empty and that's where 21 year-old interns get lured into the oval office with pizza by a despicable, powerful man when Washington is shut down. Blame the Republicans for that.
